"Growing up on the Tutukaka coast in Northland has instilled in me a deep connection to our landscape and appreciation for natural processes. After falling in love with the arts at Tikipunga High School, I transitioned into a life of study at Elam. I graduated with a BFA (Honours) in 2013. Art school wasn't the romantic hours of painting I had expected but challenged me to always approach things from multiple perspectives and be brave in my approach.
I've worked across a range of different creative fields since graduating - all linked by storytelling. I like to incorporate these elements into my painting."
